Geeky

I was talking to Miller today (my friend Andrew for those who don't know who Miller is) and he made a humourous comment. I was talking about the fact that I really LOVE the Star Wars Trilogy, and that it seems to a thing that makes guys do a double take. He told me that:

"There are so few of the "hot geeky" tribe left we (guys) must stike when we find one. It is our only chance for survival"

It made me laugh, but I realize that there are many geeky things about me. Here are a few of the highlights:

1) Yes, the Star Wars trilogy does rock my world.
2) I take pictures of myself doing random things at my computer (like the one posted below)
3) The fact I'm always on the computer...that must equal geeky...the fact I sit here and don't do anything other than sit here...
4) I'm not completely attracted to the 'typical hot' guy. Now, I'm not saying that they aren't worth looking at, because most of them are quite rich in the looks department, but I really seem to go for guys who either a) like the exact same geeky stuff I do, b) are vulnerable and look like they need to be comforted, or c) are average everyday Joe Schmo's. And don't get me wrong, these people aren't ugly...they just aren't 'typical hot.'
5) If I don't know what a word is, I look it up - right away. When I learn big words, I throw it into conversation to confuse people.
6) I like to memorize things; Shakespeare, movie quotes, lyrics, advertisements, random trivia. That's not so bad...the bad part is when I do memorize them, I make sure everyone knows that I have them memorized, and proudly display my random facts at every given moment.
7) My unhealthy addiction to Homestar Runner.
8) I have a crush on Harrison Ford.
9) The fact I am sitting here at 1:30 on Sunday morning making a list about what makes me geeky.
10) The fact that I don't care that I am sitting here at 1:30 on Sunday morning making a list about what makes me geeky.

I think I will add more to this list later...right now I am quite tired, and should go to bed. If you have any suggestions to add to my list, please post a comment, or let me know.
