The Good News Is...
The snow is gone!
The bad news is that it was rained away. Heavily rained away.
(I told Lindsay that I would write something for her on my blog on Friday. Well, it may not be Friday by the time this gets posted, but it's still Friday when I started writing (11:58 PM.)
So it snowed on Monday, and then Tuesday (when me and a couple other girls decided to go to IKEA, it decides to rain. And this is no little shower either. It stinking poured cold, harsh droplets down on us poor, unsuspecting shoppers!
IKEA was fun though. That store is always great to go into and just browse around for aimless hours on end. I bought this neat clothes organizer for my room, and a few Christmas gifts. I want to get this funky little thing they have there in the New Year to help me with my Frame by Frame class. Since I want to be a director, I have to be good with the whole creation process of films, so it would be nice if I could make legible storyboards. The thing I want is one of those little dolls that has moveable joints, so you can position it and see what the human figure looks like for drawing. Yep, when I have more money in the new year, that doll is mine (and it's not scary or anything, like a puppet. It just looks really useful.)
This week was brutal though. I still felt down and listless, and I had stuff due every day. I found out why I was listless though. My iron levels are supposed to be at 40. Mine are currently sitting at...5!!!!! For those of you who are no good at math:
THAT'S 8x LESS THAN IT SHOULD BE!!!!
So I'm going on iron pills to make me feel better (since all the food I hate is the stuff that has incredible amounts of iron in it.)
I had this test on Wednesday, and right after it we watched this swacked out movie called Eraserhead. Has anyone seen it? It's a David Lynch movie (enough said) and it was his student film when attended AFI. It is so trippy, and if I do say so myself, pretty darn boring. Not only does it make little to no sense, but there is hardly any dialogue, and the movie relies solely on it's music and freaky deaky visuals to make it through. If you're curious, just look up a visual for Eraserhead and check out the baby. Weird! The lighting was good though.
Anywho...I'm going to go see Ocean's 12 tomorrow. It should be good. I mean, how can a movie with stars like Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, George Clooney, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Julia Roberts, Andy Garcia, Bernie Mac, etc. go wrong?
Now it's time to go to bed!
Off to bed, to bed I said!
