Best Known For: He's probably best known for his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean but he has done a bit of everything. From a troubled teen in What's Eating Gilbert Grape, to the writer of Peter Pan in Finding Neverland, to eventually portraying the crazy Willy Wonka in a remake of Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Currently: He has 6 films in the works, including the above mentioned Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and once again becoming Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean II.
Why Chosen: I fell in love with Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean and am speechless when I watch him in all his other movies. He has been in bad movies, but his acting is constantly flawless. The man can't do a bad role! Oh, and he's also really, REALLY hot!
