Valentines Day

The Following Is A Paid Valentines Day Annoucement:

To be brutally honest, I'm not a fan of Valentines Day. It seems like such a commercial cop-out. Like, why do we need a day where we can tell people that we care for them? Shouldn't we express our love and devotion every day? Valentines Day is just an excuse for stores to sell more stuff between Christmas and Easter, the real days we should be celebrating.

Some of you are probably wondering why I'm so cynical, even though I do have a boyfriend for Valentines Day. I guess I just don't like hearing about people getting angry or upset or whatever because someone didn't make a big deal out of some random day on the calendar. As for me and my boyfriend, we're celebrating (if you could call it that) on the 15th, which has more meaning to us anyway (our one month anniversary.)

For those of you who enjoy Valentines Day, please continue to enjoy it. It is fun to be loved and it is fun to get stuff, but please remind yourself to continue sharing that love every single other day of the year.
