Bedridden Update
I can tell that I'm not feeling well because I reviewed my last post (from a couple of hours ago) and realized that it was the worst post I have written thus far (in my opinion.) I didn't use any crazy bold or italic effects, and my grammar was substandard.
Though, to be honest, I'm not sure how much better this one will be.
I gained enough strength to put clothes on and walk down to the cafeteria and get some food. I couldn't eat much though - my stomach just can't handle it. The people I was eating with commented that they were walking down to the corner store to get chips, and I commented that I needed to get medicine from the corner store, but didn't have money to give them (and I sure wasn't giving them my debit card no matter how ill I am.) So I bundled up. Picture this: three pairs of sweatpants, two sweaters, mittens, a scarf, a hat, a HUGE parka with a hood and my boots trundling along in the fresh snow (we had a friggin' massive snow storm today) to get medicine so I can sleep through the night without waking up every hour.
I have come to a theory (that all the NB-ers will laugh at me for): My illness is complicated from the air in Toronto and the surrounding areas. As dank as the air is in my tiny cell, nothing aggravates my illness worse than being outside. The past couple days whenever I walked outside my throat would go raw and I had difficulties breathing. The exact same happened during this trip despite the fact that my throat had been feeling a lot better.
THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT TORONTO THAT IS MAKING ME PHYSICALLY ILL! CURSE YOU SMOG!
So now I am back to how I felt this morning even though I had perked up a bit this afternoon. I am going to drug myself shortly and pray for a dreamless, tormentless sleep.
Goodnight!
