Sleep
I really like to sleep. There is nothing better than a nice, warm, long sleep to wash all worries away. For example, I went to bed at 4:00 Saturday morning, and woke up at 3:30 in the afternoon the next day feeling refreshed and ready to face (what was left of) the day! I went to sleep at 3:00 Sunday morning and now have woken up at 2:00 in the afternoon, once again feeling great despite the fact that it is muggy and foggy outside.
If there is one thing I've learned at college, that I will carry with me for the rest of my life is:
Sleep when you can!
I'm serious. If you are tired, and there is time to sleep, DO!!!!! I mean, if your body is telling you that you are tired, you need to sleep. ESPECIALLY if you have time to. I mean, every week since school started, I have taken a nap between camera class and my humanities lecture, because the time is there!
I had a weird dream last night. I was chosen for an experiment by NASA to see if students study better in space than they do on earth. I had to go through all these tests and training, which felt oddly real, and made me feel slightly ill. I could tell I was lucid dreaming because I would think of something that I knew about travel in space, and all of a sudden it would be sitting right in front of me, or I could feel it's presence. Then, later in the dream came the point where I was to travel to space. I remember looking down at earth and saying "Wow, the countries are the exact same shape as they are on maps!" Then I woke up. Weird.
It's going to be another lazy day. Just a reading assignment to do for tomorrow and that is it. Hopefully my friend picked up "Mystery Men" so we have something to do tonight!
