Pissed Off

Ok, so I had this AMAZING post written out, and it was colourful and everything, and when I pressed post, it decided to tell me that the blog site thing was undergoing upgrade and therefore was unable to post my post. In conclusion, I lost my post and ALL the funny things you know I had said!

I got a response back from the blogger people about my framing/template problem. Here is what they said:

"On occasion, the side-bar will shift when the content contained within the side-menu or a post extends the column beyond its designated width. We recommend reviewing the content in both columns to identify items that may be causing column expansion. In most cases, long links and wide images are the cause of the problem."

Well, I don't have any long links (actually, I don't totally know what that means) and I don't have any overly wide pictures, so I still don't know how to fix this. If anyone has any solutions, helpful or not, let me know.

I slept in today. I woke up at 10:30 and was still pretty tired. I only had one class, cinematography. It was pretty fun. I got to watch my first ever film movie. I've only ever worked with videotape, so shooting on actual film in an actual film camera was cool.

It wasn't much of a movie. It was more of a tone/exposure test, so we learned all the good things about the relationships between f-stops, ISO, and of course, shutter speed. Midterm on all that next week. It should be a doozy.

I also got to see myself on film! They needed a model for a shot, so I sat in. I tried to act all serious and professional, but in one shot they made me laugh. Since it is a wild (that IS the technical name for it) camera there was no audio recorded so I look like a doofus trying not to laugh, and then smirking for no good reason.

My RA decided it would be a good idea to hold a floor meeting during midterm week. Right, you're smart...moron. I mean seriously...last week...next week...doesn't matter to me...but this week? She is a total nut-job, and needs to leave...SOON!!!!! Oh, yeah...it's also pub night that night, so she will have a whole ton of pissed off, ready to drink people on her hands while she is trying to talk to us about the noise issue...what a loser...

I can't wait for the NEW YEARS PARTY!!!!! I will be really fun to see everyone again. I know it won't be like old times, but hopefully, we can party like it's prom 2004! w00t! I also can't wait until I am 19. It's not that I want to go drinking and get smashed and pissed out of my mind. I just want to have the freedom to do what I want, when I want, and to actually be able to go out with my friends when they go to the pub on pub night.

I have a test tomorrow...humanties. I hate humanities. It's some gen-ed course I have to take so I know more about the world than just film. They really do know how to ruin a college year, don't they.

I'm really sleepy, and I should do some more studying.
