Skydiving Video

As promised, here is (FINALLY!) my skydiving video.

They had it edited to Linkin' Park music, and all the editing was done in camera (meaning there were obvious cuts between scenes.)

I re-edited it to Queen music (what else?) and put some nice transitions between the scenes, cut some boring stuff...you know the drill.

The interviews are kind of funny...especially the ones beforehand. When I get nervous my voice gets a tad squeaky, and I giggle...a lot. If you want to jump to the good stuff, however, check out 3:15 where they open the door at 10500 feet...take a look at my reaction.

Without further ado, I'll let the video speak for itself...

Let me know what you think...

Wow. Looks amazing but I would NEVER do it. I'm glad it was good for you. How come you and your dad didn't go up in the same plane though?

The reason Dad didn't go up in the same plane is because he also got a video. The planes are so tiny that there is only room for 6 people. The pilot, two experienced jumpers, two beginners, and one camera operator. There is simply no room for a second person with a video to go up in the same plane. So Dad ended up going beforehand, and getting a video while I followed shortly thereafter.

You know, it looks like something that would be beautiful beyond my imagination, but I could never get myself to do it. I have a hard enough time being in a plane where I'm sitting in a chair and fairly safe.

Good choice on the music.
